Das Geb\u00e4ude wurde 1909 erbaut und diente im 1. Weltkrieg als Lazarett f\u00fcr verwundete Soldaten. Nach dem Krieg wurde das Lazarett in ein Kurhotel umgebaut. Ein Feuer im Jahr 1940 besch\u00e4digte das Kurhotel so stark, dass einige Geb\u00e4udeteile komplett neu aufgebaut werden mussten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zu Zeiten des Nationalsozialismus wurde das Hotel beschlagnahmt und als arisches Geburtshaus vom \u201eHilfswerk Mutter und Kind\u201c genutzt. Dabei wurden schwangere Frauen, die als arisch klassifiziert wurden, vor und nach der Schwangerschaft betreut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>W\u00e4hrend der DDR-Zeit wurde das Geb\u00e4ude wieder umgebaut und als FDGB Erholungsheim genutzt. Nach der Wende gab es dann keinen Bedarf mehr an Hotels in dieser Region.
