Gut ausger\u00fcstet und aufgeregt begannen wir unser Abenteuer. Die H\u00f6hle ist weitgehend unbekannt und eine der gr\u00f6\u00dften Einzelh\u00f6hlen Deutschlands.<\/p>\n<p>Sie wurde Ende der 1800er Jahre beim Bau eines Eisenbahntunnels gefunden. Die Dimensionen der H\u00f6hle sind beeindruckend. Das Licht unserer sehr starken Lampen verliert sich in der Dunkelheit der Tiefe der H\u00f6hle. Grobes Blockwerk bedeckt den Boden.<\/p>\n<p>Einst durchzog ein H\u00f6hlenbach die H\u00f6hle. Aus Angst vor Untersp\u00fclung der Bahnstrecke wurde ein gro\u00dfes System von Entw\u00e4sserungsstollen angelegt. Es wurde ein langer Hauptstollen mit mehreren Abzweigungen errichtet. Dieser sollte das Wasser aufnehmen und unter Umgehung der H\u00f6hle ableiten.<\/p>\n<p>Der Bahntunnel ist heute noch in Betrieb und eignet sich nicht so gut als Zugang f\u00fcr einen Besuch der H\u00f6hle.<\/p>\n<p>Wir werden diesen Tag nicht so schnell vergessen. Es war ein f\u00fcr uns bisher einmaliges Erlebnis.
